Static smoke barriers

Static smoke barriers are used in construction for the separation of smoke tanks in the attic space, so that the fire fighting is local - only in the smoke section of the fire.

Static smoke barriers are: special fiberglass fabric sewn according to the project; with weight on one side.

The static smoke barrier must be CE certified and CE marked according to EN12101-1 by a notified laboratory

In normal condition, the fabric is lowered to a certain elevation and the weight keeps the curtain stretched.
