Dynamic smoke barriers

Dynamic smoke barriers are used in construction for the separation of smoke tanks in the attic space, so that the fire fighting is local - only in the smoke section of the fire.

Dynamic smoke barriers are: special fiberglass fabric sewn according to the project; with weight on one side; and wound on a shaft on the other; in which there is a tubular electric motor 24V DC; all this in a galvanized sheet metal box; electrical unit.

The dynamic smoke barrier must be CE certified and CE marked according to EN12101-1 by a notified laboratory.

In normal condition, the textile is wound on the shaft. During a fire, the curtain goes down to the specified elevation.
