Facade NSHEV - pneumatic

In case of fire the natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilator (NSHEV) or smoke extraction domes / hatches are designed to remove combustion products outside the building with the aim of providing a smokeless layer on the floor to evacuate people.

Facade pneumatic NSHEV are windows from aluminum profile with pneumatic opening system, pneumatic cylinder and mechanical lock.

  • The aluminum profile must correspond to the type with which the hatch is certified.
  • The filling of the window can be: double glazing, thermal panel or multi-chamber polycarbonate.
  • The console system allows opening at a certain angle.
  • The pneumatic cylinder must have built-in locks for open and closed position.
  • The mechanical lock allows adjusting the opening angle and using a pneumatic cylinder with a smaller stroke.

NSHEV must be CE certified and CE marked according to EN12101-2 by a notified laboratory.

Advantages of the facade pneumatic NSHEV: achieving larger opening angles and a cheaper control system.
